Open (1) Levering mobile application to track outcomes after injections for back pain

Looking for an opportunity to participate in a medical study? Have mobile app design skills? We are looking for a motivated student to help us study how a mobile phone app can help us better track outcomes after spine injections for low back pain. This is a funded project that is anticipated to last 1-2 years, yielding in a publication.

- Help in designing and optimizing mobile app
- Assist in study design and implementation
- Participate in the data analysis (with the help of research assistant and hired statistician)
- Participate in drafting a paper for submission to a peer reviewed journal

Qualifications: REQUIRED: Student must have prior experience with designing mobile phone apps. Please list your prior experiences and if possible, send a link to prior works. All class level/majors welcomed to apply.

Weekly Hours: to be negotiated

Off-Campus Research Site: Most of the work will be done remotely. However, the investigators will be located at UCSF Orthopedic Institute: 1500 Owens St, San Francisco, CA 94158
