This project examines how power differently impacts men and women's experiences of the workplace. Power leads people to experience a number of psychological changes, however these changes may manifest differently in men and women. To investigate this question, we will run correlational studies, social science experiments, and interviews with managers. We will also conduct literature reviews to aid with a meta-analysis.
Role: Research apprentices will be asked to help with stimuli creation, survey piloting, data collection, data analysis, manuscript preparation, and literature reviews.
Qualifications: Seeking applicants who are interested in studying organizational diversity & hierarchy and have extremely strong attention to detail and communication skills. Courses in psychology, experience with Qualtrics, R-Studio are bonuses. Reasonable availability on a weekly basis is also needed for coordination purposes.
