Applications for Spring 2025 are closed for this project.
The Center for the Tebtunis Papyri is seeking assistance with a cataloging project in 2024/25. This will mainly involve inventorying, measuring, describing, and foldering papyrus fragments from the collection. Updating the Center’s database of papyri will also be part of this project.
Role: Participants will receive training in the handling, description, and housing of papyrus fragments. They will also learn how to image papyri and make additions and changes to the Center’s online database.
Qualifications: The project does not require computer skills beyond the fundamentals, though attention to detail is essential. Applicants should have completed Greek 100 at Berkeley (or its equivalent elsewhere).
