Research on Civic Participation Among Latine Older Adults

This project explores the experiences of Latine older adults participating in the community. As a URAP apprentice you will have the opportunity to assist with several projects all pertaining to this topic. You will have the opportunity to assist in developing literature reviews, journal formatting, working with community partners to disseminate findings, and working on the public website ourwayoflifearchive.com
We are looking for students who can dedicate 10hrs+ a week.
Role: Tasks will include:
-conducting literature reviews
-assisting in formatting academic manuscripts
-updating project website
-working with community partner to disseminate findings
Qualifications: Good organizational and time management skills, consistent weekly communication, and and attention to details. Students with little to no research experience are encouraged to apply. Must be comfortable using google scholar and UC Berkeley library resources. Familiarity with APA citations is a plus.
Hours: 9-11 hrs
Off-Campus Research Site: This work is remote and all meetings will be held over zoom once a week.
