I am editing a book of essays and correspondence by Rachel Bespaloff, who lived during WW I and II and wrote in French. The translated essays are nearing completion, but a good deal of work remains:
* filling in bibliographic information based on notes I have already made
* checking the translated quotations for accuracy against published copies of the works cited, ideally at the Library.
* formatting the Word files
* collecting a final bibliography
Qualifications: No foreign language background is required, but being detail-oriented and meticulous is required. Must be 'fluent' in using MS Word (any platform that can be read in MacOS). Prior editorial experience is a plus.
Hours: negotiable, depending on how quickly the project advances.
Hours: to be negotiated
